There stood a girl
Besotted by the memories he gave
Wishing to make things right
To just make everything fit into something
Clinging on to what gave her the high
Hoping it to stay forever
A hankering for a peaceful ending
Yearning to settle with what she mistook for an unicorn
End of the day, All she did was
Leave all things undone!
There she was
Inebriated in a feeling of him
Trying to deplore all emotions
His images, memories and what not
Forever would rue the day she let it happen
Obviously lamenting over the non-happenings
Trying all sorts of escape mechanism
To get away from the mortal love
For all she wanted was a Closure
But was she ready for it?
On a cold winter evening
with the night setting in
She sat at that bench
With her favourite pudding
Just across her most treasured one
Watching him gulp his hot mocha
That rare and beautiful moment,
the mouth watering pudding,
The lovely weather and atmosphere
Or the handsome trouble
There she sat, not knowing
which of these should she admire.
At that moment, the world became slow to her
just away from the techo world
They had their heart to heart conversation
with no tags attached whatsoever
He came in like a brushing wind
Soft and calm and so soothing
Little did she know she was getting into a mess
Those warm hugs, tender lips
Giving her precious memories for life
Little did she know she was getting into a mess
To all the sides of him that she loved
And to all the times she missed out to unlike him
Little did she know she was getting into a mess
She wished for colourful moments
Beautiful memories
But,
For whatever life is worth,
is this mess really worth it?
Quivered by the unfairness of life,
She looked out for you.
Shuddered with lack of trust,
She looked out for you.
Wanting to circumvent all sadness,
She looked out for you.
Being smitted with him,
She had no choice
But to be clobbered
With the bout of emotions
Out of the blue
Happy or sad he asked
She looked into his eyes and wondered
Only to realize the truth
For little did she know that
all that would remain is
an unrequited feeling.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
